The International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) is an annual conference held in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The conference (started in 2005) is organized by the New Mexico Space Grant Consortium a member of the congressionally funded National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program which is administered by NASA in 1989.〔http://spacegrant.nmsu.edu/ispcs〕〔http://www.personalspaceflight.info/2008/10/22/previewing-ispcs-2008/〕 The International Symposium for Personal and Commercial Spaceflight (ISPCS) is the industry’s leading gathering for the entrepreneurs and innovators delivering on the promise of spaceflight for mankind. The symposium provides a wide-angle snapshot of how the industry functions today, relative to the “right now” status of functions that make up the demanding activities driving the human access to space business programs. ISPCS offers a broad range of panels and speakers to fully convey the state of the industry. The goal of our industry is to expand the availability of safe, affordable, reliable access to space for mankind. ISPCS features information sessions, networking opportunities and provides attendees with the latest news, topics, trends, and best practices that demonstrate personal and commercial spaceflight is a reality. ISPCS has worked closely with XPRIZE in the past and currently works closely with Spaceport America. Day one each year starts with the Sugerman Forum, a free to the public portion of the event that discusses and highlights the personal and commercial spaceflight industry.
